Witty Riddles
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
The sixth out of seven novels from the renowned British author J.K. Rowling made its way into a blockbuster hit flick by the name of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Being the sixth film of the Harry Potter series and having been directed by David Yates and the screen-played by Steve Kloves, the film saw the light of the day on 15th July, 2009.
The plot of the flick shows a natural development. Harry begins his journey by discovering a book that belongs to the Half Blood Prince. He is seen to be pursued by the Death Eaters whereas the forces of Voldemort are seen to be growing all the more powerful. Horace Slughorn, the retired teacher is somehow convinced by Dumbledore to return to Hogwarts. However, he had an ulterior motive when he had earlier taught a young Voldemort by the name of Tom Riddle. He tries to reminisce all those events concerned with big V and how he attained immortality. On the other hand, Professor Snape is eager enough to help Draco Malfoy, who has been assigned by the dark Lord to perform a task. The best times are, however, enjoyed by Hermoine and Ron who are experiencing the sweet delights of adolescence.
The unique part of this Harry Potter sequel is that it comprises more dramatic fluff and romantic elements than any of its earlier versions. It is quite natural keeping in mind that the kids are growing big. Lastly, Harry also manages disclose Ron and Hermoine that Horcrux was a fake locket.
The star cast of the film is unchanged and Daniel Radcliffe continues to play Harry Potter with Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermoine Granger. Other significant characters were essayed by Jim Broadbent, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Sir Michael Gambon, Helen McCrory and others.
Several reputed directors were approached to direct the film, the personal favorite of Rowling being Terry Gilliam. Ultimate it was David Yates. The filming began in the year 2007 and ended after about 9 months. It is also recorded as the highest grossing film of the year 2009 and racked in a sum of more than $904,000,000.
Witty dialogues and a gripping plot complemented well with brilliant acting offers the audience a delectable treat serving action, drama, thrill, romance and mystery all in a single platter.
